UNIQLO has opened a digital store driven by RFID technology, including RFID fitting mirrors, RFID shopping carts, RFID self-service checkout, etc., to comprehensively assist in upgrading the consumer experience; In addition, a set of automated systems for garment quality control and distribution are being introduced into the warehouse, where machines are responsible for automatically reading RFID tags on clothes, reducing the labor force of the warehouse by 90%.In the 2018 Double 11 Shopping Carnival, Uniqlo achieved $1 billion in sales in one minute. And relying on its excellent automated inventory system, Uniqlo enables customers to pick up goods from offline stores within 24 hours.

In early 2016, Hailan Home officially launched the RFID pipelining reading system, which uses an RFID scanning channel machine to pipelining read clothing RFID information every 8 seconds without opening the box, achieving batch scanning, real-time uploading, and classification management of packaged clothing product information. After the system was put into operation, the labor cost in the receiving phase was reduced to 1/3 of the original, while employee performance was improved by 5-14 times.

3. Decathlon's RFID project has achieved remarkable results

In the global footwear field, Decathlon is one of the first companies to introduce RFID technology, and is also the most representative brand in application. At present, most stores of retail giant Decathlon have adopted the UHF RFID solution, and the annual label consumption is more than 1 billion pieces.At present, about 85% of Decathlon's products use RFID tags. In addition to inventory and supply chain management, Decathlon also realizes batch checkout in stores to reduce the queuing time of consumers and improve the consumption experience. Decathlon said that RFID technology improved the inventory efficiency by five times and reduced the loss rate of goods by about 10%.

4. ZARA utilizes RFID technology to achieve efficient product cycles

In the first half of 2016, the CEO of ZARA's parent company Inditex publicly stated that through the application of RFID technology, the inventory and supply situation of nearly 70% of flagship brands has been improved. Coupled with upgrades in design, production, and distribution, sales in the first half of the year increased by 11.1% to 10.47 billion euros, while profits increased by 7.5% to 1.26 billion euros. Facts have proven that ZARA achieves ultra high efficiency through RFID technology, and its clothing only takes about 10 days from the design concept to the finished product on the shelf.

5. Nike uses RFID security buckles and sneaker ID cards to prevent counterfeiting, theft, and counterfeit goods

In order to strengthen supervision and optimize the return and exchange management process, Nike introduced a theft deterrent buckle with RFID tags in 2018. Earlier this year, Nike further upgraded its anti-counterfeiting methods by adding a unique QR code to the tongue size label, and embedding a corresponding chip on the shoe box to create a sneaker ID card for each pair of shoes that exactly matches the shoe body and the shoe box.
